I have always had a passion for numbers and puzzles. My choice to follow the bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at TU Eindhoven and the subsequent master's degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics did not come out of the blue. During my studies, I took every opportunity to apply the knowledge I acquired in practice. For example, I did an internship at CQM, and during my graduation I did research into train timetables.
After completing my studies, the decision to apply to CQM was quickly made. Now I can use my passion for applying mathematics every day and work with colleagues on challenging problems for which we seek the best solution. We do this in a highly pleasant and motivated team of experts. I really enjoy seeing how mathematical solutions actually contribute to real improvements in practice. That combination of mathematics, the search for practical solutions and collaboration with customers and colleagues is what makes work at CQM so much fun!
